On 5 May 2026, the GenomeMET online workshop brought that alignment into focus: standardisation of methods, pre-analytics, and quality control for cancer DNA diagnostics—linking measurement science to what laboratories and decision-makers actually need.

With more than 60 participants from across sectors, the workshop underscored the strong interest in connecting measurement science with real clinical needs.
